About Me

Hi! My name is Erin and I am a stay-at-home mom of four children. Having grown up in the beautiful Adirondack mountains of upstate New York, I've always had a love of nature and a concern for the environment. Having kids has only heightened my awareness of our impact on the environment and concern for the future of our planet.

Staying at home gives me a unique opportunity to shape and influence my children's lives: teaching them morals and values, right from wrong, and helping them grow physically and emotionally. In our home, this includes raising socially conscious individuals and instilling in them a love and respect for nature and the environment.

Living on a single income, I am aware that going organic and natural can be expensive. But, I believe small steps can make a big difference. I hope you will be inspired by my website to make small changes in your every day life. For example, if you can't afford to buy natural cleaning products, try making them yourself-- it's amazing what a little white vinegar can do! Similarly, if you can't afford to buy, or don't have access to, organic produce at the store, try growing them yourself. Gardening can be a great learning tool for your kids, too! is a labor of love and an ongoing project for me. I hope you'll find it useful and informative, and you'll find new ways to make your life a little greener. Together, we're saving the family at a time!
